Today! Jessica Nielsen @Bloesems Designer Visits!
We visited Dutch designer Jessica Nielsen in her apartment in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. She lives here with her boyfriend Eelco who is an architect. They share a studio that is a stone’s throw away and they usually continue working on their laptops together at night while sprawled out on the large sofa in the living room. Read about their “pizza-love” and her designs in her home… I love their sleeping room!
Her products are available at BijzonderMooi.

Hello Sunshine! Let’s play the light! New poster (50x60cm) online! Printlove by Vorstin
In Japanese, the circle symbolizes the sun: to be printed exactly in the center of the surface. So this poster started with a circle cut of wood. On the back of this poster, the word hello is reversed. Depending on how the light shines on this poster and the amount of light behind the poster you see shining through “HELLO”… Enjoy your play!

Last year when Irene and I worked on a city guide of Singapore for Anthology magazine we bumped into the guys from The Bureau. It was their funky office that caught our attention at first but soon when we started chatting we learned more about their collection Moe chairs…
So very spontaneously we created a mini photo-shoot and see here the whole story!

FOR SALE: binnenkijker/interiorstory designer Marly Gommans. We have around 26 images from their very inspiring home available for publications in magazines.
“I love it when someone gives a lot of character to a home. And Marly Gommans certainly did that to her home in the Netherlands. The hand painted mural, the little things on the wall and the sublime pantone painted staircase makes her house very interesting …
Marly Gommans is a fashion and furniture designer, with a special interest in Cats! Yes cats, but she doesn’t like their plastic litterboxes and ugly scratching poles … so she designed some good-looking ones that are welcome in her home.”

Today Marly Gommans @Bloesems Designer Visits!
Marly gives her home character with the hand painted mural, little things on the wall (every piece has his own story) and the sublime pantone painted staircase…
Marly Gommans is a fashion and furniture designer, with a special interest in Cats! Yes cats, but she doesn’t like their plastic litterboxes and ugly scratching poles … so she designed some good-looking ones that are welcome in her home. And while she was at it she decided to design a great cat cushion too. Marly interned at the famous Kiki van Eijk studio and now makes her own name into the world of design with her funky products.
Thinking about Marly reminds me on the delicious soup and muffins she made for us that day… Yummie!

New print TRIANGLE INFINITE now online in my webshop!
This print is a beautiful geometric design about connection…
And more: this is also about human psychoanalysis. Every human has male and female properties. This triangle represent the infinity of these parts in human life. A triangle with point upward symbolizes manhood, with point downwards femininity.
A lot of men like this one… ;)
