This month in the Bolig Drom (NO): the story about Marit: her home with her vegetarian restaurant in it… This is a very special publication… because they also give some of Marits receipts.

A few weeks ago I was there to eat with a friend. It was delicious… And such a good atmosphere!!! I love it!! Marit told me that a lot people over the world come over now… because of our publications in Anthology Magazine and Grazia UK! WOW what a great news! I was very glad and surprised!

This year designer Hellen van Berkel asked me to photograph her new collection. She needed good pictures from her scarves to find new agents all over the world. It’s hard to find those… specially when you don’t have any good pictures. But she told me that it was easy to get them in with her new pictures! This was one of the most lovable commission this year! I liked being busy with eight silk scarves. Blowing them around in the wind, watching how they react and give them some shape… Hellen is a wonderful woman and I love the way she works on her designs. She was very thankful when the images were ready. I got this scarf from her… I love the print with these butterflies and the beetles! Designer Visits This year we started with Designer Visits. This is a collaboration between Sandra Jacobs/BijzonderMOOI* who does the interview, Nanette Watson-Seas/xPattycake who makes the translations, me taking pictures and Irene Hoofs/BloesemBlogs (where it all starts) who shows the result on her great blog. We had a lot of fun working together and I want to thank all of them for their stake in this joy! Every month Sandra and I visit two designers. In a maximum of two hours she did the interview and I took the pictures. Sometimes I saw so many inspiration that it was difficult for me to capture everything in such a short time, but after all; this will keep it spontaneous. It was great to hear the designers talking about their craftsmanship, their (very hard) work and following their passion(s). Even though to see how they use their own designs and others (from their (designer)friends… they all love exchange actions!;) in their lovely, inspirational and authentic interiors. I want to thank all the designers for their hospitality and (more important) for sharing their personal life with us!  Thanx a lot! Designer Visits

This year we started with Designer Visits. She writes about her fabulous new shop: AnoukB Boutique, about Fashion, Lifestyle and Interiors. Sometimes also with work/pictures we did together!  In the new year we starting with a shoot at january 3rd. We hope to surprise you with something fabulous!!!

For the ones who knows me (really) personal, they know this was the most heavy year of my life. Creating, talking and sharing helped me through these struggles. Thanx to all people who are close around me. I’m also blessed to be mother of our beautiful son, my biggest joy and love. For a few years I’m photographing the projects of ENZO Architecten. We always have a lot of fun during our shoots. Every project we photograph, we also make a portrait of Jasper and Carlo which gives us a lot of joy! You wanna know why?! They are in for every (crazy) proposal… ;) And now… finally… they got their new website in the air!!! It’s beautiful! I hope this will give this talented couple a lot of new amazing projects… Ben Lambers from Studio Aandacht did the design.
